We can now show you the first images and ideas that Balzar Arquitectos have been working on for the new Designer House in Calicanto, Chiva, where construction work will begin very soon.
The site is in the Calicanto development in Chiva, and at the foot of Loma del Castillo, where the mountain meets the plain.
It is an expansive plot of land, with a pine forest on one side and the highway that provides access to the site on the other. The aim of the project is to close the site to the road and open its views towards the pines, showcasing the two trees on the site.
The house rests on a few points on the land, suspended over it and with large cantilevers.
The rising curve of the roof reflects the house’s layout whilst giving it a strong sense of character.
The planned materials for the house are inspired by the region’s traditional dwellings and aim to respect the context around it, while the house’s form gives it an entirely contemporary aesthetic.
