The project of the new headquarters of the Caja Rural Central in Orihuela unites architecture and design to create a different and unique experience for the user. Innovative and elegant at the same time, a new formula for a different kind of bank. The new proposal is conceived with a unique approach: putting people at the center.
The idea was to transform a financial space into a welcoming environment that stands out for its human, warm and friendly atmosphere. We wanted to convey a closeness to the institution’s users, and every design decision reflects that commitment.
The pre-existing building consists of a four-story building with a dome. The construction was left incomplete and only has the skeleton of concrete pillars, slabs and roof.
The program of the new headquarters of the Caja Rural Central in Orihuela is distributed over four levels in an emblematic building in the center of the city. The first floor has a reception and customer waiting area. The branch to the public and administration and storage areas. The first level houses the banking program for individuals, companies and individuals. On the second level is the financial management, media and auditing area. On the third level is the program for banking employees: cafeteria, gymnasium, canteen and cafeteria. On the fourth level is the penthouse with meeting rooms, general management, meeting rooms and the president’s office. Finally, the dome houses the board of directors.
The materials chosen are warm and natural and contribute not only to the aesthetics of the intervention, but also to the feeling of well-being and comfort. Every texture, every finish, every piece of furniture has been chosen to ensure a unique and pleasant experience.
In short, the new headquarters of Caja Rural Central is a place that puts people at the center, offering a human, warm and friendly atmosphere so that its users feel the closeness of the entity.
