calma house
The history of this house begins to be traced in a plot located in El Campello, a privileged place near the sea.
This plot, with a flat terrain and bathed by the sea breeze, is surrounded by pine and palm trees, creating an unmistakable Mediterranean atmosphere that becomes the starting point for the project.
On the one hand, we are looking for a house whose interior space is projected outwards, appropriating it so that Architecture and Nature can merge in a magical way.
On the other hand, the project respects and enhances the existing vegetation, which provides the place with shade and freshness. The project proposes routes that take advantage of the horizontality of the terrain, creating different spatial situations that invite the enjoyment of an outdoor life, always in harmony with the landscape and the sea.
The triangular geometry that configures the empty space between the house and the pavilion is repeated in different areas of the project, with a precise modulation that provides continuity to the design and allows articulating the different spaces, both indoors and outdoors. This geometry, in addition to defining the spaces of the house, will be key to establishing the visual identity of the project, making it unique.
The thresholds
One of the keys of the project consisted of solving its broken geometry in a successful way, organizing the spaces of the house in a comfortable and efficient way, and considering the orientations and accesses so that the movements of the family would have a simple logic and guarantee their privacy.
In one of the areas of the house is the pavilion of dreams.
An outdoor space covered by vegetation as shade, in which to enjoy, play, have meals outside and where the youngest members of the family can invent stories and dream.
The project thus begins to be configured so that the gardens have different outdoor situations. Open spaces intermingle with protected spaces, pergolas and squares enriching the experience of living in this house.
