Publication by AD | “Stylish Mediterranean Homes”
“Home in Artes Gráficas” in Architectural Digest (AD). Characterised by reviving traditional features and the use of light, concepts taken from Mediterranean culture, this comprehensive refurbishment project has been chosen by internationally renowned magazine Architectural Digest.
AD magazine is hugely influential in Spain. It is at the cutting edge of the design, decoration, architecture and art world with a constantly fresh approach. The cover turns the spotlight on Valencia, which will be “World Design Capital 2022”, and selects several homes with “easy ideas to copy” and interiors that can be used as inspiration. Homes flooded with Valencia’s unique light and typically Mediterranean features.
The “Home in Artes Gráficas” in Architectural Digest (AD) describes the comprehensive refurbishment project under the title “Let peace reign”.
“The use of natural materials is key to this Valencian apartment where an environmentally-friendly approach has been one of the project’s bywords. Respect for the environment is essential for a home to be filled with peace and, naturally, it can be achieved without having to compromise on aesthetic beauty. “Make architecture an experience that is capable of raising people’s spirits and increasing their wellbeing,” explains the team at Balzar Arquitectos, which refurbished this updated minimalist home where space is only filled by the strictly necessary, while everything else is tidied away.”
