New Project | House in Moraira

Balzar Arquitectos has recently begun to work on the development of a high-end single-family house in Moraira.

The plot has a very steep slope and enjoys marvellous views of the Mediterranean sea.

The first proposals for the project develop a house based on two platforms and four voids.

The platforms respond to the idea of the surrounding terraces, becoming splendid viewpoints, making the project an authentic “viewpoint house”. They manage to reduce the scale of the dwelling, minimising the visual impact on the mountain. The topography remains unchanged. The architecture fits right into it, respecting it and improving its value.

The voids refer to the courtyards so typical for our Mediterranean climate. They opportunely resolve the transition between the interior and the exterior, at the same time improving the thermal conditioning of the spaces.
